The main character in today's post is Anastasia Beverly Hills' newest palette - Glam To Go. This palette caught my attention with its first promo photos.
The palette has a very compact size, as it contains 8 colors (each 0.65 g) and a mirror. 5 of the colors are shadows (Pretty, Dawn, Sunburst, Softy, Fireworks) and 3 colors (Sunset, Rosey, Dusk) are pressed face and body pigments that are not intended for use in the eye contour area. You'd be surprised at how many palettes have such warnings that we don't even understand if we don't explicitly read them on the packaging. However, if you have sensitive eyes and/or skin, be careful.
I liked and bought Glam To Go because I really liked the color combination as well as the pocket format of the palette. For me, it includes everything I need for both light, everyday makeup and stronger looks with an emphasis on the eyes. These 8 colors in Glam To Go provide a large enough choice of combinations with each other, while the colors are also "safe" - ones that you can't go wrong with.
The shadows themselves are quite dusty, like absolutely all the rest of Anastasia Beverly Hills. I try to abstract myself from it because everything else in the palette is perfect. It's been a long time since I've bought a palette from the brand and for me the current quality is a definite step up from ABH's previous launches.
The colors blend with incredible ease, while the pigment is absolutely phenomenal. Both with the shiny ones and with the matte ones. The colors are dense, intense, rich. A complete eye make-up takes a matter of minutes, as Glam To Go is very quick and easy to work with.
For me, Glam To Go combines everything it needs to become a favorite palette (especially on-the-go) - compact, easy to work with, multi-combinable, suitable for any occasion.
