I have already mentioned on the blog more than once that there are several cosmetic brands that I have a special affinity for. One of them is CLINIQUE, which over the years has never disappointed me and I've always been very interested in trying a new product.
I have favorite products that I would buy again and again, and I would never give up their classic - the famous 3-Step system, which I talked about on the blog. To date, for my morning routine, I have once again put my full trust in CLINIQUE and their Pep-Start range.
My skin care in the morning is quite different from my skin care in the evening. In the evening, I use more products, I make different masks, different cleaning products, exfoliants, oils... In the morning, I need exactly two products to keep my skin in perfect shape - fresh and hydrated. It is absolutely enough for me to wash my face with water to be ready for the application of cream, and in case I have excess oiliness in the T-zone, I also use a cleansing foam. I start with the Pep-Start eye cream, which instantly nourishes the delicate area and removes the feeling of dryness in seconds. I rub it in with massage movements until it is completely absorbed into the skin and the softness and hydration are there.
Its formula is great – it's both super light and absorbs instantly, and moisturizes beautifully. As for how effective it is against dark circles and under-eye bags, I can't say because I don't have any. In its description, it is indicated that it helps with exactly such conditions, but I have no way to verify this. For me, it's enough that it lives up to its promise of deep hydration. Mine is a small size, from a multi-product kit, but I will definitely be buying the full size.
The PEP-START Hydrorush Moisturizer SPF20 day cream also meets the requirements of my dry skin. It has a thick texture and doesn't absorb in seconds, so I have to wait a bit before applying foundation, BB cream or anything else. For me, this is not a problem at all, because I can feel my skin literally "absorbing" thirstily, hydrating and refreshing. A huge advantage of the cream is the presence of a sun protection factor - SPF 20, without which I would not go out. I also really like the fact that it is unscented, because strongly scented creams are not to my taste at all. I wouldn't give a chance to any face cream that is "crammed" with strong smell.
The Pep-Start cream has an antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effect and is very suitable for urban conditions, because in addition to deeply hydrating, it protects the skin from the harmful effects of the environment. The packaging is convenient, in a sturdy glass jar with a square shape, and the fresh yellow color brings a wonderful mood!
With these two products, my day starts with a fresh start, my skin is properly hydrated and protected from the sun. For the moment, they are quite enough for me, but when the summer season comes, I will have to replace them with products with a higher sun protection factor. I recommend them to everyone with dry and normal skin - you won't regret it. Their prices are completely normal for their class and quality.
