Ever since I started wearing makeup "consciously," I kind of went with the idea that I could use lipsticks at any price point.
I have a wide variety in my collection - from budget to high end and I have countless favorites from all of them. I certainly can't say that I haven't come across a high-end lipstick that has impressed me enough to call it "the best" for me.
But that was until I came across Sisley's Le Phyto Rouge range of lipsticks!
A friend of mine had been telling me about them for a long time, and one day, walking together in one of the malls at the Sisley stand, she brought these pearls to my attention again and I decided to try one of the new colors on my hand. And I bought it on the second! I was instantly captivated by the gentle touch and application of this texture, and at the same time, the color was rich, highly pigmented.
I picked up the color Beige Bali and at home I have already thoroughly enjoyed its exceptional formula on my lips!
The very next day I went back to Douglas to buy two more colors - Rose Bolchoi and Beige Manhattan, so you can judge for yourself if I was impressed!
That's right, it's not just lipstick! This is an exceptional hybrid between a lipstick and a balm that not only colors the lips, but cares for them, with the well-known high-quality developments of the French brand Sisley.
Le Phyto Rouge contains Hydrabooster Complex with Hyaluronic Acid, which nourishes and plumps the skin on the lips, which we don't take enough care of. I can safely say that since using Sisley lipsticks, I have completely forgotten my lip balms. I wear one of the three Le Phyto Rouge colors I have on a daily basis and the lip care I get from them is more than enough for me.
And this is normal - in their formula they also contain a set of oils that give the necessary dose of hydration, softening and elasticity of the skin. However, I do not neglect regular exfoliation either, because it is of great importance and should not be missed.
The texture of Le Phyto Rouge is definitely a total delight on the lips – light, delicate, very fine, and the color is dense and rich. Also, given their formula, they are long lasting, but don't expect hours. And that's something I definitely prefer – better to renew my lipstick but have it look after and nourish my lips instead of a full matte that will last for hours but won't do anything for them. Besides drying them out…
Sisley's Le Phyto Rouge is a lipstick that doesn't feel on the lips - it's so soft and delicate. But they will certainly feel its comfort, softness and the expected high quality.
