REVIEW: RIMMEL LASTING FINISH 25H

beauty cosmetics reviews rimmel

Hello!

Rimmel foundation is one of my favorites, I like Wake me up as the most inappropriate foundation for my skin, or Stay Matte as the roofiest foundation in the drugstore ever, so I used Lasting Finish 25h with great enthusiasm and now it's time for a review.

I got the Lasting Finish 25h as soon as it hit the market and my first impressions were more than positive, it's actually the first foundation I empty completely because I usually always have one finger left at the bottom.

However, our relationship with him had both ups and downs. In no way would I blame foundation in this case. There is a strange regularity for me where I like very much the formula on one basis for the first (about) 3-4 months, after which I usually stop using it for a while and when after about a month or two I go back to it, it already looks terrible on my skin and very quickly becomes the so-called "cake face" effect. The only explanation I give to myself is that my skin has obviously changed, because I am careful with the shelf life. So it happened with Rimmel's, unfortunately and for that I would probably go ahead and not take it again, despite the initial excellent impressions.

But back to the Lasting Finish 25h review with a comfortable serum. It promises long-lasting full coverage, which by my standards is rather average. It blends easily, looks natural. The finish it gives is satin, which is something like "not too matte, but it's not dewy either." There's an SPF 20, no problem with pictures, you don't come out like a ghost. It should withstand sweat, heat, humidity, for 25 hours, all of which is quite controversial in my opinion, but certainly at least the first half of the day you will not have to worry about it. And if you have very oily skin like me, you may need to fix it at the end of the day.

Composition:

Active Ingredients: Titanium Dioxide - 7.8 (Sunscreen), Octinoxate - 2.5 (Sunscreen)Inactive Ingredients: Water, Cyclopentasiloxane, Butylene Glycol, Cetyl PEG, 1 Dimethicone, PPG-10, Talc, Trimethylsiloxysilicate, Sodium PCA, Silica Silylate, C12-15 Alkyl Ethylhexanoate, Magnesium Sulfate, Zinc Stearate, Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Dimethicone, C12-22 Alkyl Methacrylate Copolymer, Acrylates, Bis PEG, PPG 14, 14 Dimethicone, Amodimethicone, Laureth-7, Lecithin, Tribehenin, Disteardimonium Hectorite, Phenoxyethanol, Trihydroxystearin, Chlorphenesin, Dimethiconol, Triethoxycaprylylsilane, Xanthan Gum, Fragrance, Pentylene Glycol, Tocopheryl Acetate, Propylene Carbonate, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Glycerin, Citric Acid, Fructose, Sodium Hydroxide, Urea, Laureth-4, Hexyl Cinnamal, Limonene, Butylphenyl Methylpropional, Allantoin, Maltose, Sodium Chloride, Sodium Lactate, Sodium Sulfate, Trehalose, Benzyl Salicylate, Linalool, Geraniol, BHT, Citronellol, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, Glucose, Sodium Hyaluronate, Pentaerythrityl Tetra-di-t-Butyl Hydroxyhydrocinnamate, May Contain: Iron Oxides

In conclusion, despite my changing opinion over the time I use foundation, I think it is a very good basis for combination skin. It looks good with longer wear, and also does not oxidize (again something that torments me quite often). Although I would not buy it again, I have a positive impression of it and would recommend it to everyone, because I think it will appeal to many people, even with different skin types.

Are there any fans of the fod de tena of Rimmel among you?
